Fratta Terme, in the heart of Romagna, is a quiet pretty village set in the hills surrounded by breathtaking scenery and views. The Spa dates back to Roman times and is set in 13 hectares of parkland with an incredible variety of spa waters. There are 11 springs in the grounds which produce 7 different kinds of spa water with a high concentration of salts containing sodium chloride, sodium/bromide/iodine, sulphur, iron, magnesium and arsenic. The Spa was opened in October 2007 after extensive renovation work and features the latest hi-tech equipment offering mud and salt bath therapies, rehabilitation physiotherapy, intensive sports training, vascular treatments, respiratory treatments as well as a well-equipped gym, Turkish bath, Roman bath, walkway for leg circulatory treatment, thermal pools at different temperatures (33° and 37°) with hydromassage and waterfalls and relaxation rooms: it is a state-of-the-art well-being centre - one of its kind.
